John DiMarco
Director of Golf
Originally from Willingboro, John attended University of Central Florida following college he worked at Riverton CC for 8 years and then moved on to Laurel Creek CC where he spent 23 seasons. He was selected in 2006 as the 3rd Head Professional in the club’s history. He spent 13 seasons in that position helping form that club into what it is today. He is now looking forward to bringing his wealth of experience, numerous programs and utmost service to Woodcrest members and guests. John has had 3 major accomplishments in his playing career that he is enormously proud of achieving. He qualified for 2 majors. The 1999 US Open at Pinehurst and 2014 US Senior Open at Oak Tree in Edmund, OK. Finally, he captured the 2000 NJ State Open at Rock Spring CC. John resides in the hometown of our club Cherry Hill with his wife Robin.
Brett Fernandes
Lead Assistant Golf Professional
Prior to joining the staff at Woodcrest Country Club, Brett worked for five years at Indian Spring Golf Course. Starting in outside operations, he progressed to becoming the First Assistant Golf Professional- a position which he held for three seasons.
Brett prides himself on his customer service and the ability to teach students of all ages and skill levels. Currently, Brett is in Level 2 of the PGM program, where he is working on becoming a full PGA Member by early 2021.
A graduate of Cherokee High School, Brett was a four-year letterman on the golf team while also playing travel ice hockey. Upon graduation, he would attend Alvernia University where he would go on to be a four-time medalist and earn all-conference honors.
Away from the club, Brett enjoys traveling and attending sporting events. He currently resides in Audubon, NJ.
