Marketing Coordinator

Woodcrest Country Club is searching for a part-time Marketing Coordinator with a flexible schedule to work 20 hours per week, to support the Marketing Director on the overall effectiveness and execution of marketing campaigns. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Management of website and all social media campaigns.
  • Design and manage email marketing to members, prospective members and event prospects through Constant Contact.
  • Develop and design all marketing collateral for club membership, golf, events and dining including brochures, club event and golf promotions, private event menus and the Woodcrest newsletter.
  • Remain current on national trends in the industry and local market changes to best serve the facility.
  • Support of research of media and advertising buys.
  • Collaborating frequently with various teams throughout the organization.
  • Other various tasks that drive traffic to achieve optimum financial performance and be ahead of our competitors as directed by the Marketing Director and/or the Director of Operations.

Qualified candidates will have the following:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or other related field.
  • 1-2 years’ experience in marketing or sales related field.
  • Excellent language, spelling, writing, editing and proofreading skills and telephone etiquette.
  • Attention to detail and keen eye for graphic design.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience with Adobe Indesign, Photoshop, social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Instagram) and Microsoft Office is a must.

Come join our kitchen team at Woodcrest Country Club. We are looking for an Experienced Dishwasher/Houseman/Janitorial/Kitchen Position includes: - cleaning club house inside and outside - cleaning commercial kitchen and dishwashing - assisting banquet staff with set up and breakdown of events.

Job contingent on successful background.

Event Planner and Sales

Job Summary

Woodcrest Country Club is  seeking a dynamic individual to join our Event Planning and Sales Team. The candidate will report to the Director of Food & Beverage and work closely with other Event Planning and Sales Specialists on the Team. The role will be engaged in all aspects of the planning and execution of events from inquiry to completion and will share responsibility for the successful implementation of events. The ideal candidate must have basic experience in sales and event planning, coupled with an outgoing and enthusiastic attitude. The candidate must possess outstanding customer service skills during all phases of the event process. A degree in Event Planning, Hospitality or a related field is a plus.

Key Requirements 

  • Must have the skillset to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment with the ability to troubleshoot and handle last minute changes or issues 

  • Team player who works well with others as well as individually and consistently displays a positive “can do” attitude 

  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills   

  • Must be proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook; experience with Hot Schedules and POS software a plus 

  • Ability to prepare detailed banquet event orders (BEO’s)floor planscontracts and event sales reports 

  • Must be able to learn the facility and its capabilities, as well as conduct site tours and visits with potential clients on a regular basis  

  • Must be able to coordinate and work with clients, vendors, and kitchen and serving staff to ensure events are well executed from start to finish 

  • At times, the position will require long days, as well as many nights, weekends and holidays on a rotation basis 

  • The ability to schedule effectively and manage event timelines 

  • Display attention to detail to effectively manage calendar of events, respond to new inquiries and regularly follow up with clients  

  • Must develop good working knowledge of the event pricing structures, packages and menus currently used at the club 

  • Candidate will be responsible for handling deposits, invoicing and following up with payment for every event 

  • Must have the aptitude and vision to ensure all event space is utilized in the most efficient and effective way that maximizes revenue for the club 

  • Must manage proactively and help implement continuous improvement programs throughout the operation, ensuring the facility is always functioning at peak performance
